ActiveCanvas is a family-based firm founded in 1996. We’ve been part of the interactive communities of Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston and Cincinnati and have clients nationwide. Our mantra is to do more than is expected with great respect for our clients’ budgets and involvement.
Taking ownership in our own success means we focus 100% on producing strategically balanced work. The majority of our clients never leave. The quality of the work plays a part in this, but the real glue is the relationships we form. Trust is earned through honest conversations and sometimes difficult questions. We believe that if we give our clients access to our experience, creativity and intelligence rather than drive them to solutions we can bill for, our balance sheet will take care of itself.
We specialize in custom design, dynamic databases, and strong content. Our work is original. Every pixel uniquely represents the brand and message of our clients’ businesses. We pride ourselves on getting things done quickly, which is getting more important all the time in today’s business realities. We work out of our home and answer our own phones. We think we work well under pressure. That’s when our smaller size really helps.

Before ActiveCanvas, we racked up over 43 years combined experience in sales and marketing in the corporate world. In those days, we invested in our careers - just like we do now. It’s time to clear our bookshelves of some of our favorite business, marketing and sales books. There’s nothing better than a great deal on good classic used books.
Linda Wolf 
Linda is a ‘connect the dots’ kind of person who’s expert in the skill of getting into the minds of buyers. She was a freelance logo designer when logos were pencil and ink, and went on to a super successful 18-year career as a corporate sales executive. In Los Angeles, Linda and son built their first corporate website; AC was born.
Linda is the project manager and creative side of ActiveCanvas.
Eric Wolf
Eric is an Ohio native, so after careers in LA, Chicago, and Boston he’s comfortable hanging out near his roots. He’s been a corporate account exec, president of one software company and owner of another. Eric is right-brained with degrees all over his office walls. He still takes advanced classes and teaches on the side. He read HTML5 like it was a novel. Eric is the reason AC’s websites are bulletproof.
