The Legacy Chat : Websites Project

The Legacy Chat is the brainchild of Sunbridge Networks, an Orlando-based group that provides training, tools and support to financial advisors. Sunbridge wanted our help to create an e-commerce site to sell audio legacy kits to nonprofits. The product they named as Timeless Treasures was to be sold as an affordable donor gift.

ActiveCanvas did extensive research and discovered that donors prefer values over valuables and embrace the ideas of leaving a ‘legacy’ to capture all facets of an individual’s life. We wrote Web copy for the site that reflects the new reality.

One challenge was educating nonprofits and charities on the value of staying close to their donors and developing intergenerational relationships through storytelling. One solution was Kate’s Story a deeply personal account of one widow’s experience with her Legacy Chat.

We developed an online store offering over 2 dozen Legacy Chat Kits as well as games, Advisor Workshops and Design Services. Visitors can listen to audio samples of children and adults, and get recording tips.
