Underwater World Scuba Center : Websites Project

Underwater World Scuba Center is Cincinnati’s best dive shop, but their location is not the most convenient. Divers tend to travel with and purchase dive gear from the dive operators who train them. Building a community of avid divers assures ongoing revenue for the shop owners, and makes diving even more fun for their customers.

Instructors were photographed in their personal dive gear. These photos were superimposed on a background representing their personality or favorite dive spot. The idea was preserve that important personal relationship between diver and their instructors with the long term goal of Underwater World Scuba Center making customers for life.

The website is written and coded for optimal search engine marketing results. The main navigation terms match the 3 criteria divers look for: dive training, dive equipment, and dive travel. The About Us header uses another important search keyword (at least for Ohio winters): Heated Pool.

The site has a Course Calendar, diving resources and photo albums of past trips. Divers who have purchased dive computers and regulators can register their serial numbers and received reminders when their gear needs to serviced.
